My name is Princess Maganda, 32 years old and I'm from Quezon City in The Philippines. I studied my secondary level in Gala Vocational School at Gamay Northern Samar. When I finished my secondary level I applied as a singer in the KTV bar in Manila. I worked for four years in different places and bars in Manila. At the age of 22 I was diagnosed with a primary bone tumor in my left leg. I was admitted to Philippine General Hospital and the doctor over there told me that I needed an operation. After the surgery my leg got infected and I was in a lot of pain. One week after that they had to amputate my leg and I became an above the knee amputee. After a month I started using a prosthetic leg that was sponsored by The Rotary Club in North Edsa here in Quezon City. I used the prosthetic leg for only three months. I stopped using it because I wasn't comfortable using it and it was also very painful and heavy in my right lower leg. From then I decided to change from prosthetic leg to crutches. I bought crutches and I'm still using them. I have my own bussiness now. From my house I run a petrol station with a small shop. In my spare time I like to sing, hang out with friends, cooking, I work out everyday and I like to have photos of me taken. On Facebook I came accross the D-Models Facebook page. I really liked it and the website as well. I asked if it was possible to join. That was possible, but because I live on the other side of the world I had to have my own photos taken. I asked a friend who took photos of me before and he was willing to help me out. We made a few test photos and after they were aproved we made a first set. This set is published on this website now and we are planning to do a lot more. We hope to improve the quality and make photos you like to see of me. For now the most important thing is that I like doing it and I'm also very proud of having my own website! Maybe in the future I will also add a page to this website that is about my singing career with some of my songs on it.
