My name is Ricarda and I'm 31 years old. I live in Germany in a town called Moers. I live there together with my partner and my 7 year old daughter. In the summer of 2006 I was involved in a serious accident while I was riding my motorcycle. Because of that I became paralyzed at the level of T5. Of course this changed my life drastically but at this moment I live a very normal and positive life and I don't feel any different than before my accident. Except for not being able to go on stairs I can do everything as before. Before my accident I had a job as a saleswoman and after that I worked some time in an office. After I became unemployed I decided to go back to school again, and right now I'm a psychology student. Things I like to do in my spare time are spending time with friends, doing sports like work out in a gym and reading books. I also like to spend time with my daugher. She was born when I was already in a wheelchair. I'm not in a relationship with the father anymore but I live together with a new partner for 2 years now. Another thing I like to do is doing photoshoots. Because of that I was asked if I was interested to join the D-Models website a few years ago. I liked the idea of the website right away, so that is why I decided to do the photoshoot. I think the pictures turned out very well because I think that I was able to prove that a model can sit in a wheelchair as well.
