My name is Kelly, I'm 29 years old and I live in The Netherlands in a town called Arnhem. I use a wheelchair because I have a double hip disorder. In 1999 I was involved in a very serious accident. I was hit by a car while I was walking home from the busstop. After my accident I had 5 very hard years of trouble with my legs (click here for the full story). It was very hard for me to accept that I ended up in a wheelchair while I wasn't even 25 years of age, but I decided to make to best of it. I'm still able to walk short distances on crutches but I hardly do that anymore. When I use my wheelchair i'm very well able to cope with the pain. So when I don't do stupid things like wanting to do too much I'm able to live a very normal life. I have a nice job now as a consultant and I don't see myself as a disabled person. I like to go out, listening to music and shopping are also things I like to do. In the beginning of this year I started to do photoshoots, but it came as a surprise to me when I was asked to start this website. I had to think about it for a few days but I started to like the idea. I want to show people that despite of being on wheels I'm still able to look nice. Maybe it's also an example for people to not give up when life doesn't turn out like you wanted it to be. Pictures of me will are for sale on this site now!
